Descriptions of personality

Here are some samples of descriptions which pairs of Room 5 students were working on last week, about describing personalities:

Boy and The Dog ( A Description )

His eyes looked very exhausted as he kept on staring at the screen for hours. His eyes were glued to the screen with SUPER GLUE. He was wearing a navy blue hooded jumper. It was like the boy had been depressed for a long time. Sudden light seemed to blind him; it was as though he wasn’t used to it. As he played video games, his facial expressions looked very dull.

Concentrated on the game, the boy was stuck to the large screen as he played with his controller. Addicted to video games, he wasn't aware of his surroundings. He was antisocial and appeared not to care about other people.

The Boy
(description)

Eyes glued to the screen, the boy had glassy eyes which reflected the image of the video game he was playing. Hunched forward, the boys eyes drooped in the dim silence of the room, his eyes pulled towards the TV.

Addicted to video games, the boy stared at the screen; he didn’t appear to be aware of his surroundings.  The sudden illumination of light made him cringe from the immense blackness. Anything around him, he seemed to ignore. When he focused on his surroundings, his attitude could change.

The Present A description

The depressed gamer had straight brown hair which the TV light reflected on. He had brown glassy eyes that only glared at his video game. Lapis was the colour of jumper while his pants were plain dark black. His skin was pale mixed in with a touch of pink. He had lots of freckles which were the colour of light brown and they are the size of tiny specs of sand.

Delighted, the boy opened the box which had a puppy in it. Glaring at the adorable creature he realized the pup was missing a limb. The once excited boy threw the puppy down carelessly and went back to continue playing his video game ignoring the puppy which was on his back struggling to get up.

The boy seemed to be a depressed person who passed the time playing video games with the curtains closed. He also appeared to ignore his surrounding like they were nothing.
