This term, Room 5 has been working hard on Batik art - an art form which originated in Indonesia. We used paper instead of fabric. A picture was drawn, followed by colouring with crayons, then the art was scrunched up, dyed and finally outlined in Indian ink.
Here are the outcomes. Some excellent work was produced! Enjoy :)
